On Monday, December 30, 2024, the Ohio General Assembly completed all business, and adjourned sine die, “without any future date being designated”. In the two-year session when the daily work is concluded, the legislature merely adjourns until another day. With this action, all legislation introduced but not passed expires. The new two-year session will begin January 6, 2025, with no bills pending.
