Join your peers from across Ohio for an update from our team of consultants at Calfee Halter & Griswold on the recent elections, a forecast of the lame duck session, and planning for the next General Assembly session that will begin in January.  We have also invited Representative, Gayle Manning, Chairwoman of the House Commerce and Labor Committee, to offer her insights on the action at the Statehouse including the status of our private prompt pay bill (HB380).
In addition to the legislative information, we’ll be doing some planning for the 2021 Convention in Toledo, talking about the Construction Conversation Zoom meetings and sharing industry experiences from across Ohio on matters of local concern with regard to labor relations and local business conditions.
There is no charge to attend, but you must be registered in advance. We will be using a socially distant set up, modified food service for breakfast and lunch, and masks to safety meet.  As always, this meeting is open to any contractor who is signatory to either the UA or SMART.
